The Church and Freshly Squeezed Orange Juice

If you think about it, the comparison made in our previous post regarding Christian Theology and freshly squeezed orange juice could have been better defined.  In hindsight, a more appropriate comparison would have been between the Church and orange juice.  And while you can get up this morning and have a tall glass of fresh orange juice; you can not say that the Church is pure and refreshing in the Eye of Our Saviour, Jesus Christ.   The body of the church  is contaminated by the corrupt influences of mankind.

But then the Church has never been pure- not even at birth.  In a sense, the Church is like God’s Creation.  Created in perfection, but because of man – it fell subject to the Curse.  And because of that influence, today’s Church increasingly sways from Scriptural Guidance, seeking acceptance by the secular world.  And the more the Church yearns for the world acquiescence; the more distant the Church slips from God’s Will and Purpose.   Therefore; until the Rapture of the Church, the Church will increasingly fall under human domination and manipulation.   Since the days of the Early Church, the Church has remained unfit to fulfill its role as Christ Bride

Each day, the attitude of the Church inches closer and closer to the mindset found in the Church at Laodicean.  It is neither cold nor hot.  We can only speculate that the day is near when the Church will become so offensive that when Christ sips of our juice; He will spew the many contaminated forms of worship which we offer up to Him, from His Mouth.  Only with the Rapture of the Church and transformation of our earthly body into our new glorified body, will the Church be found worthy to stand before the Father as the only Bride  acceptable for His Holy Son.
