On a date which would have marked the celebration of the 300th Anniversary of the signing of America’s Declaration of Independence, the National Security Force (NSF) of the Democratic Republic of Islamic American States (DRIAS) pushed back angry demonstrators attempting to gain access to the District of Columbia Quarantined Zone’s northern border wall region.  Armed with sledge hammers, iron bars, and paint filled balloons; the zealous followers of Abal Ismael, one of the more radical leaders of the Alishi Mulgaric movement, repeatedly surged forward toward the border wall. Their attempt to overpower the National Security Force defenders repeatedly failed; but their determination remained high.

The insurgent’s ultimate goal – gain access to the restricted “first city’s” interior quadrant; and then destroy, or at least deface, all war memorials and monuments which the group consider anti-Islamic or derogatory toward the Muslim faith.

Just inside the perimeter fence; the well-armed DCQZ Joint Coalition Force (DCQZ-JCF) – a contingency force of Republic of Texas, Ohr ChadashTzion, Ardhi Yangu, and California Grande military special forces troops – stood posed and apparently ready to use deadly force in defending the sanctity and integrity of the protected area.  Off in the distance, well behind the DCQZ-JCF defensive line; an ensemble of weaponless observers from Singula Libertas security force stood by, observing the ensuing chaos.

To date, the Alishi Mulgaric faction has succeeded in ridding most of the designated monuments and memorials which the movement considers offensive from within the Democratic Republic of Islamic American States – the ones designated to be symbols of “America’s Fight against Terrorism”. Their capstone in the national cleansing program has been the Flight 93 National Memorial.  The memorial was originally built and dedicated in the memory of the passengers and crew of United Airlines Flight 93.

Looking back on the morning of September 11, 2001 as details of attacks on the World Trade Center reached some of the passengers onboard the flight; several passengers took it upon themselves to revolt against the hijackers who had seized control of their plane. Their action resulted in the plane crashing to the ground in a western rural region of New Isfahan (formally the state of Pennsylvania); thus preventing the hijackers from reaching their suspected target – the United States Capitol Building.

However on September 11, 2041, a militant group seized control of the memorial’s administrative building; and with little resistance from local DRIAS Park Service officials, the organizers destroyed much of the memorial building and the adjacent structures; using pre-positioned heavy earth moving equipment which was brought onto the memorial grounds several days prior to the destruction. Officials from the Park Service issued an apology regarding the destruction; however, they emphasized the destruction was unavoidable.

In the spring of 2042, the DRIAS Park Service recanted the historical significance of the memorial and turned ownership of the Flight 93 memorial site over to local authority.  In turn, the local officials ceded ownership of the property over to local clerics; and honored the cleric’ request for the construction of a new mosque on the site.   On September 11, 2043, the mosque was completed and dedicated in remembrance of those Islamic passengers, who died at the site. Then on September 11, 2044, the Ziad Jarrah Education Center was dedicated and opened on the memorial grounds.  Jarrah was presumed to be the individual who gained control of the hijacked cockpit and would have flown the plane along with all surviving passengers head-on into the US Capitol.

Following this afternoon’s uprising along the DCQZ boarder wall, Abal Ismael pledged to his supporters that he would continue the fight to seize control of the DCQZ and rid the region of all symbols of disrespect and oppression which the infidels left behind as they fled the land.   With the exception of DCQZ monuments and the DRIAS government restricted 911 Memorial located at Ground Zero (Manhattan), Ismael and his followers have accomplished their objectives.
